    Low-E Windows

Simonton Windows® offers the energy-efficient, spectrally selective LoĒ3-366 glass as an upgrade option on many of the company's products. The 12-layer formula, which includes three layers of silver applied through sputter coating technology, provides superior thermal performance with a balance of solar control and high visibility. The glass blocks up to 95 percent of UV rays, and reduces heat gain by up to 64 percent compared to ordinary glass. The visible light transmittance is 66 percent, and the solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) is .27. The glass is manufactured by Cardinal Glass Industries.

    Realistic Artificial Trees

Steel Art Trees™ from NatureMaker® are carefully designed and crafted to emulate live trees. A synthesis of art and engineering, each artificial tree is built on a steel framework, then individually hand-sculpted and hand-painted to suggest realistic bark. Available in a wide variety of "species," from baobab and cypress to aspen and maple. The configuration is designed as a function of ceiling height, desired canopy coverage, and tree location, whether freestanding, column-wrapped, or wall-mounted. Suggested as an interior feature in hotels, resorts, museums, libraries, zoos, commercial buildings, atriums, public art projects, theme parks and entertainment destinations, trade show exhibits, and luxury homes.

    Roof-Edge Expansion Joint

Metal-Era's Perma-Tite Expansion Joint allows four-way movement between two roof systems or a roof and a wall system. A continuous articulatory cleat allows expansion or contraction, and also protects the joint from wind-driven rain. The joint easily attaches to wood framing on new or existing roofs, and prevents condensation by insulating against internal building temperatures. The concealed splice-plate design prevents splice-plate migration under the fascia panels. Pre-punched holes allow for faster installation, and slotted fastening holes ensure proper thermal movement. Available in standard and custom colors and finishes.
