Weyerhaeuser ChoiceDek® boards are made using a process that encapsulates recycled wood fiber in recycled polyethylene, and they do not require staining, sealing, or treating. The manufacturer's limited-lifetime warranty includes saltwater contact installations and termite resistance. The boards are suitable for decks, dock surfaces, playground equipment, boardwalks, wheelchair access ramps, and walkways. Available in six colors: gray, redwood, sandstone, wood tone, driftwood, and spice. The product line includes matching railing systems. |

Emeco, the Aluminum Chair Company, introduces an aluminum chair, stool, and table set designed by Foster and Partners. It has been selected by the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum for its 2006 Triennial. The sleek new chair features a slim, modern, all-aluminum frame weighing 5-1/2 pounds (2.5 kilograms), with a tensile strength three times greater than that of steel. Constructed in the United States of 80-percent recycled aluminum, it qualifies as an environmentally sound product and contributes to LEED certification for recycled content.
